Joseph Stegeman joined Mayflower Advisors LLC in 2009 as a registered associate.  Prior to working in financial services, Joe graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with his bachelors of Business Administration.  He began his financial services career at Investors Bank & Trust (which was acquired by State Street Corporation) as a mutual fund accountant.  Most recently before joining Mayflower Advisors, Joe spent a few years in South Florida working for Prudential.                                                                                                                             

Joe focuses on helping individual clients with their assets using his investment and insurance planning knowledge.  Joe also works closely with Managing Partner Steve Dimitriou to assist companies and their employees on the design, implementation and operation of their defined contribution retirement plans. 

Joe is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, and the 300 Committee; a nonprofit group dedicated to preserving conservation land in his hometown of Falmouth.  He continues his education of his field taking classes from the American College, working toward professional industry designations.  He holds his series 6, 7, 63, 65 registrations, Life and Health Insurance and Variable Annuity licenses.  Joe now resides in the South End of Boston.
