Lou Chong, CFP®, AIF®, CRPC®, joined the Mayflower team in 2015 as a Vice President, Senior Plan Consultant. Lou advises corporations and non-profit organizations on how to structure cost efficient and regulatory compliant retirement plans, customized to the unique needs of the organization.
Lou’s 30 years of experience in senior leadership positions within the retirement plan and institutional investment industry provides a high level of consultative expertise to plan sponsors helping them to manage compliant plans, construct diversified investment line-ups, identify excessive fees and deploy effective education strategies for participants.
Prior to joining Mayflower, Lou spent over 10 years at Fidelity Investments as a Senior Vice President in their Retirement Plans Division. He was also a Senior Vice President and head of Defined Contribution Services for Franklin Templeton Investments, managing their 401(k) product. In addition, Lou held a senior position at Hartford Investment Management Company, managing business development of institutional investment strategies for corporate and public pension funds.
Lou is a graduate of Colby College where he received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Biology.
